Active transportation was a recurring focus at the Jan. 8 special meeting. Staff and councilmembers highlighted trail connections, wayfinding signage, sidewalks, crosswalk improvements and safety lighting as central to downtown upgrades and the Trails Master Plan. Councilmember Colin Topper and Mayor Joette Langianese emphasized connecting trails to Millcreek and Spanish Valley and implementing wayfinding that supports both residents and visitors.
