Board Unanimously Approves Learning and Library Policies, and School Fees

At the action portion of the meeting the board approved multiple policy items and the district’s school fees.

A motion to approve the learning materials policy was made and seconded; the chair called the question and the motion "carried." The board then approved the library materials policy following a motion and second. Later in the agenda, the superintendent recommended approval of school fees for the upcoming year; a board member moved to approve and another seconded. During the fees discussion, a board member asked specifically about increased trip fees for some co-curricular programs and was advised those are year-dependent; administration confirmed that some fees rise in years when groups take trips.

When the chair called the question on fees the record shows unanimous support (the chair noted "a unanimous, ayes"). The board also noted there were no homeschool affidavits to process.
