The Putney Selectboard heard an extended update on the Renew Town Hall project from Town Manager Karen M. Astley, who said the team has met with Vermont Integrated Architects (VIA) and construction manager HP Cummings to review preliminary cost estimates and a draft schedule. Astley noted two grant deadlines the board must meet: "Paul Bruhn funding ($95,000) must be spent by June 30, 2026" and "MERP—this money ($402,500) must be spent by December 31, 2026," and said the MERP funds are targeted for HVAC, front doors and building energy‑envelope improvements.
