Staff said the district’s long-range facilities plan had expired a year ago and the district is "going through the bidding process for the architect" to update assessments; members recommended a dedicated work session once the architect’s assessment is complete to inform grant eligibility and longer-range capital priorities. One board member argued for a planning horizon longer than typical three-to-five years, saying a 20–25 year runway might better address aging infrastructure and demographic shifts.
