At their retreat the North Wasco County SD 21 board reviewed a 12-standard self-evaluation and discussed renewing an expired long-range facilities plan, including engaging an architect and scheduling a work session to update facilities planning tied to grant eligibility.

The board moved from the team-building exercise to a self-evaluation process using a 12-standard, 0–4 assessment tool distributed to members. Chair (S3) described the form and asked members to reflect on mission, vision and goals; members agreed to share highlights and discuss standards where scores diverged rather than review every rating individually.
