City utility and staff reports at the July 10 meeting described maintenance and training activities and flagged upcoming personnel changes. Public works graded alleys, bladed Meade Road after storms, repaired lake roads and a lift-station mechanical seal, and arranged pool-repair scope work for spring 2026. Staff also reported using UPS to ship water samples after the local Parsons courier stopped transmitting samples to Wichita to maintain compliance.
