Approved allocations include $63,000 to the Town of Friendsville for stage placemaking; $23,850 to Garrett College for an inclusive pavilion; $4,000 to the Town of Deer Park for park amenities; $100,000 to the Town of Grantsville for tennis court safety improvements; $13,000 to the Avilton Civic Association for a playground refresh; $52,000 to the Town of Accident for ballpark and connectivity improvements; $61,294.76 to Eastern Garrett Volunteer Fire Department for a lacrosse field conversion; and $19,000 to Garrett County Government for Fork Run Trail Development Phase 1. The Board approved the funding on a unanimous motion.
