Residents raise illegal-dumping, antenna noise and code-enforcement complaints

Residents brought several enforcement complaints to the board. "There's well over 2 or 3 acres that have been filled in there... a lot of the stuff they're dumping isn't even legal," the resident said.
Another resident complained that an antenna in front of his house cycles loudly — "It cycles at over 70 decibels" — and said it prevented him from working in his garage; board members said they would pass the contact information to the new code enforcement officer (Gavin Styles) and follow up. The town reported it had previously intervened on a separate dumping site (Delapena) and staff said they would take the antenna complaint to code.
The board asked staff to check permits and DEC involvement and to relay results to the complainants.
