Elgin School District Business Manager Amanda Lapp presented the district's September financial update at the Sept. 16 board meeting. She reported General Fund receipts that month included $2,032 in property taxes, $4,410 in interest and a Basic School Support (SSF) allocation of $393,700. The district's projected total revenue for 2024–25 is $6,446,848 and the projected ending fund balance is $783,812; the auditor's draft financials remained outstanding.
