Commissioners press for road striping, drainage fixes; courthouse pipe replacement to use SPLOST funds
Commissioners requested prioritization of road striping, updates on Tara Road and Folks Bennett Road projects, and discussed using remaining 2014 and 2022 SPLOST building funds to replace old courthouse pipes.

During commissioner comments, Barry Cox asked county staff to prioritize striping work and noted a lack of striping on Zion Hill Church Road. County Manager James Shubert said the striping project should begin soon and gave status updates: a Notice to Proceed has been issued for Tara Road and design work is underway for Folks Bennett Road. Shubert also said ditches on Katie Lane and Dusty Lane have been pulled and the contractor should be preparing to mix and pave pending weather delays.
