Speaker 2 thanked staff for preparing updated materials, saying, "Thank you for working through this, and and I I felt like we were like we always are, but we were updated to date on everything that we had to look at." Council moved and approved the resolutions by voice vote. The mill-levy certification states the assessor's assessed value at $20,612,140 assessed at 10 mills for the 2026 budget year.
The council discussed fund balances and GAAP adjustments during budget review; staff clarified that available cash — not capital assets — is the figure available to spend. Members agreed to schedule any additional work sessions after the new town manager is on board to walk through unfamiliar items.
