DeKalb County Human Services presented an overview of its divisions, partnerships and resource guide, saying it connects residents to services for housing, food, transportation and employment amid rising needs and constrained budgets.

DeKalb County Human Services staff told an audience the department is the county’s connection hub for residents seeking help with utilities, housing, work and food security. "Human services serves, connects, improves the quality of life, in DeKalb County," said Nicole St. Cyr, one of the presenters for the session.
