State Highway Administration flags possible plan modifications when access permit is submitted

The State Highway Administration told the Development Advisory Committee it had "no objection to plan approval" based on the information shown, but noted the plan contains limited detail about any proposed improvements within SHA right of way, including whether the property will use a dedicated driveway or shared frontage. Crysta Draayer read the SHA comment and cautioned that when the applicant submits access permit plans to SHA, "detailed comments regarding the improvements will be provided which could result in modifications to the plan."
The statement means that although SHA did not object to the current plan as submitted to the DAC, the applicant should expect additional technical comments and possible required revisions related to access design when pursuing a formal access permit with SHA.
