The Nassau County School Board appointed John Cascone as the alternate business representative to the Value Adjustment Board during a special meeting on July 23, 2026. A board member recommended Cascone for the role, a motion was made and seconded, and the board voted in favor.
"I'd like to recommend John Cascone to serve as the backup on the back the value adjustment board as our business representative," said Durham, who moved the recommendation. After a motion and second, the board voted "aye" to approve the appointment. The board chair asked staff to record the minutes and ensure Heather receives them.
