The Board of Supervisors approved an extension Dec. 16 of a moratorium on enforcing county ordinances related to chickens, continuing a temporary pause that had previously expired on June 30. County counsel presented the resolution and explained the prior resolution had expired; staff recommended withholding enforcement until June 30, 2026 to allow more time for policy consideration.
