Economic development staff requested authorization to advertise proposed amendments to the county enterprise zone, including changes to local incentive levels, addition of two parcels (a former Walton Elementary site and a Massingberg parcel) and the creation of a local ordinance to standardize administration. Staff explained the state allows counties to submit boundary or local incentive amendments and said Department of Housing and Community Development had preliminarily approved moving forward.
