Public‑health staff described contractor cleanup of a solar installation that experienced burning and panel damage. Staff said crews had fenced disturbed areas, removed burned silicon panels and were performing soil and contaminant testing; that testing will include probe and lab analysis and staff will receive results for county review. "The only holdup right now to their cleanup process is getting the trucks back from Utah to load the mix," a staff member said, explaining the logistical bottleneck for hauling panels to a licensed disposal site.
