Committee approves Quality Control lead position for Economic Support program

Julie Driscoll, chief of Health and Human Services for Washington County, returned to a follow-up item on the Economic Support program to request creation of a Quality Control (QC) lead position. "We are requesting, to create and fill that quality control lead position, utilizing the state funds that we will be receiving in our consortium contract," Driscoll said.
Driscoll noted that the committee previously received a presentation from division manager Renee Zagle and that the committee report and prior briefing were included in the packet. Supervisor Bailey moved to approve the recommendation; Supervisor Mault seconded. The committee approved the motion by voice vote and the motion carried (transcript does not record a roll-call tally). The committee directed staff to proceed with creating the position using the identified state funds.
Driscoll framed the action as a compliance and operations step tied to federal and state program requirements and told the committee she would take questions as needed.
