Shelley updates infrastructure and summer programs as subdivision, water projects progress
Public works staff said Parks Subdivision #2 is completing curb and gutter with asphalt to follow in July; Fox Crossing plans to begin infrastructure work in early July with foundations targeted for September; a 6-inch water-main crossing will require a short intersection closure. The city also reported summer events and near-term telecom crews finishing work.

Public Works Director Justin Johnson updated the council on several ongoing infrastructure projects on June 25. Crews in Parks Subdivision #2 are completing roads with curb and gutter expected by the week of July 7 and asphalt planned to follow a few weeks later. Justin said Fox Crossing completed a pre-construction meeting and expects to begin infrastructure work in early July, remove an old farmhouse and lay a 12-inch line up Center Street to the canal, with home foundations targeted around September.
