Solid Waste authority adds weekly service days and hires new attendant
The authority added an extra weekly service day at two transfer stations and hired a new refuse-site attendant; staff will report usage trends to the board to evaluate whether the added hours meet public demand.

Director Tim told the board that two transfer stations will operate an additional day each week to increase public access. "The Klamath Transfer Station is now open Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 10 to 4," Tim said, adding that the Gaskey Transfer Station is open Thursdays in addition to Saturdays during the same hours.
