The Planning Commission has formed a Master Planning Work Group with a goal to work with the Village Council to complete the village master plan within 12 months. Four consultants were identified and each attended an hour-long information-sharing session; a request for proposals was sent and accepted by Oct. 17.
Mike Botelho said the Work Group planned to meet Oct. 21 to select a consultant. The next steps outlined include scheduling a master planning kick-off meeting with the council and planning commission, finalizing the workplan with the selected consultant, and drafting and distributing the first community survey.
