After executive session, Cache Board hires principal and three teachers
Summary
Following an executive session under 25 O.S. §307(B)(1), the board unanimously approved hiring Skyler Boles as Primary Elementary principal and approved three teaching hires for the 2026–27 school year.
The Cache Public Schools Board convened an executive session at 6:40 p.m. under 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1) to discuss personnel matters related to hiring. Board President Nolan Watson stated the board entered executive session to discuss Item 15A and returned to open session at 7:19 p.m.; the meeting record notes that no action was taken during the executive session itself.
After returning to open session the board voted 4-0 to hire Skyler Boles as Principal at the Primary Elementary for the 2026–27 school year (motion by Mitch Dorrell, seconded by Brad Seaton). The board also approved three teacher hires for 2026–27: Heather Gomez as a special education teacher at the 5th & 6th Grade Center; Noelanni Banks as an English teacher at the high school; and Harleigh Mayle as a special education teacher at the Intermediate Elementary. Each hire was recorded as Passed 4-0.
