The Cache Public Schools Board of Education voted 4-0 on Jan. 12 to hire Chad Hance as superintendent for the 2026–27 school year. The board approved a three-year contract, increasing the district index from 2.9 to 3.0, adding an $800 annuity and setting the contract to begin Feb. 1, 2026.
Board action came after an executive session called under 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1) to discuss personnel. Dr. Brian Gladwell moved the hiring motion and Scott Messner seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The minutes note Chad Hance attended the executive session. The board recorded no additional conditions attached to the hire.
