The Gregory City Council authorized replacement of the water department’s SCADA computer on Aug. 4 at a cost of $1,385.64.
Finance Officer Trudy Waterman presented a quote from Cybertek with the required specifications; the quote did not include a new monitor. Councilperson Alex Hamilton moved to approve the purchase, Councilperson Ashley Lozano seconded, and the motion carried with all ayes.
City staff said the upgrade should be completed before October to meet department needs. The council did not identify a separate funding source during the meeting and treated the purchase as a routine equipment expense.
