Town Manager Cecile Rosenbaum presented the town’s draft FY2025–26 budget to the Saltville Town Council at its May 27 work session, saying the General Fund budget presented is $145,163 below last year’s adopted General Fund expense total of $2,484,063. "This is a balanced budget for both the General Fund and the Water/Sewer Funds," Rosenbaum said during the presentation.
Mayor Cheri Fullen and council members thanked department heads and the budget committee for their input. Council voted unanimously to advertise a public hearing on the FY25/26 draft budget to be held at the June 10 meeting. The vote to advertise was moved by Councilman Ryan Comer and seconded by Councilman R.B. Henderson; the roll call recorded all council members as Aye.
