Union County amends five-year bridge plan, adds three structures for state Bridge Improvement Grant
The County Commissioners approved Resolution HD2024-06 to amend the five-year Bridge Improvement Grant plan, adding three structure sites near Alcester and Elk Point and asking the South Dakota Department of Transportation to accept the changes.

The Union County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution HD2024-06 on Aug. 6, 2024, amending the county's five-year Bridge Improvement Grant plan to add three structures for repair or replacement. Commissioner Joffer moved the resolution; Commissioner Kimmel seconded and the motion carried. Chairman Richard Headid was authorized to sign the document.
