Goodhue County staff outlines Family Support Grant program and purpose

A staff member from Goodhue County Health and Human Services described the Family Support Grant (FSG) as a state cash program intended to "prevent or delay out of home placements of children and to promote family health and well-being." The presenter explained the FSG pays for services and items that address a child’s disability and are above the usual costs of caregiving.
