Chris Robbins briefed the Select Board on Feb. 23 about an alternative short of full membership in the regional Communications Union District (CUD): a non‑voting affiliate status that would give Jamaica access to reports and committee participation but not voting rights. "The affiliate would do everything that a member would except vote," Robbins said, adding that affiliates can designate attendees for meetings and receive the same documents.
