Robbins proposed recruiting a neighboring‑town representative to sit on the CUD for Jamaica in the interim; Chair moved and the board approved a motion delegating to Robbins the task of identifying that individual. Several members noted the difference between CCI, which won the grant competition, and DV Fiber, stressing that CCI’s practice has sometimes left remote households without last‑mile service while DV Fiber had committed to serve everyone.
