"We're working with Cascadia Partners, which is a consulting firm out of Portland, and they are doing the code audit," the staff member said, describing the audit process as producing code concepts and then drafting edits for public hearing. Staff also described the student team's work on sidewalk placement, low‑impact drainage approaches and a story map that will live on the city's website to explain findings. Tentative scheduling was also announced for a joint planning commission/city council session on the transportation system plan and a July public hearing on that plan.
