Kathleen Lonergan, chair of the Heritage Pines Community Development District, presented Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed Operation & Maintenance (O&M) budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and setting a public hearing. District Manager Chuck Adams said the proposed FY2026 budget "is similar to the Fiscal Year 2025 budget," with the net effect of about a $4,000 reduction in appropriations compared to FY2025.
Adams reviewed increases, decreases and line-item adjustments and told the Board the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit year-over-year. On a motion by Arthur Rhodes, seconded by Carol Vaughan, the Board adopted Resolution 2025-03 and scheduled the public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room. The Board also directed that notice, posting and publication requirements be handled pursuant to Florida law.
