The Joint Committee on State Building Construction held annual leadership elections and approved Rick Cluse as its new chair. Senator Billinger moved the nomination for Cluse and a committee member seconded; the presiding officer called for a voice vote and said, "All in favor of Rick Cluse as the new chair, please say aye." The committee recorded no opposition on the record and welcomed Cluse as chair.
