New and returning members introduce themselves as commission resumes work
Commissioners introduced themselves—legal and non‑attorney members described their districts, careers, and ties to Kansas—so the public can track who will take part in vetting nominees.

The commission used the start of the meeting to introduce members and their communities. Chair Terry Campbell and several commissioners recounted personal and professional backgrounds: Bob Frederick described a long career as a judge and private attorney; Diane Oakes summarized nonprofit leadership experience; Jen Cocking said she is assistant general counsel at Capital Federal Savings and formerly clerked for Chief Justice Lawton Nuss; Katie McLaughlin and others said they represent specific congressional districts on the commission.
