Families leaving district cite academic challenge and communication problems, district says

Bailey said parents who responded generally praised teachers and extracurriculars, but a notable segment reported dissatisfaction with academic rigor (especially at elementary and middle grades) and an "overreliance on technology." He also described that some negative ratings about administration and communication reflect individual-level interactions rather than district-wide patterns. Bailey said transfers to private schools and relocation explain many moves and that the district will share findings with building administrators to support targeted improvement.
