Families leaving district cite academic challenge and communication problems, district says
Doctor Bailey told the board the family exit survey (56 responses) shows most departing families rated teachers and extracurriculars highly, but some cited weaker academic challenge and individual communication/discipline experiences as reasons for leaving; overall transfers out were lower than many recent years.

Doctor Bailey presented the family exit-survey snapshot and transfer-out data the district compiled for 08/20/2025 to early July 2026. He said the survey instrument has been used since 2021 and that the team recorded 56 responses in the most recent snapshot; official transfer counts will be finalized with September enrollment reporting.
