During a public hearing, the council discussed code-enforcement actions for a property owned by Charles Jimenez. The minutes state a structural engineer inspection was recommended to determine habitability; Charles Jimenez said work had been done but more remained. Council member Kyle Combs moved to pass Resolution 30-2024, giving Jimenez 30 days to provide a report from a structural engineer or the council would proceed with abatement. The motion was seconded by Harley Laughlin and passed 5-0.
