Montgomery County panel approves 18-month moratorium on data center permits
The County Economic Development Committee voted unanimously to approve Expedited Bill 19-26, establishing an 18-month moratorium on permits for large data centers to give the county time to study zoning, environmental and infrastructure impacts; the full council will consider a consolidated measure July 28.
