Business manager reports steady progress on Bartlett High School project

Business manager Ponto updated the committee on Bartlett High School's phase-3 construction and furnishing. She said surplus furniture has been claimed or disposed and current deliveries are roughly two-thirds complete; a designer inspects incoming pieces and a punch list is being compiled.
Ponto described ongoing construction work — metal roof panels at the penthouse, in-wall roughing and mechanical installations on the second floor, slab preparation on the first floor, and site work focused on the bus loop and pedestrian walkways — and said the district has held contingency funds to address gaps discovered during a post-delivery room review.
She asked committee members to expect a walk-through in August to identify any remaining furniture or layout needs and said summer scheduling allows finishing exterior walkways around the campus while summer school is in session.
