Sawyer said the county will roll out a mobile and web app that allows residents to submit issues in real time with location services and map-pin placement, and to receive push notifications about status changes. "It has location services. It has map pin placements," she said.
She said the app will include a chatbot that uses AI to answer quick questions so live agents can focus on more complicated issues. "That then allows us to reserve our live agents for those more complicated issues that require more dialogue," Sawyer said. No timeline for public release was provided in the presentation.
