Mayor Rodriguez and Council member Mancias read a proclamation recognizing July 2026 as National Volunteer Month in Salinas, citing more than 1,000 new volunteers who participated in cleanups and local programs such as Amor Salinas. "The city of Salinas recognizes and honors this service," the proclamation stated.
