Library Director Daisy told the committee that the current library space is roughly half of what is needed for the size of the community and that staff are seeking grants and donations to help secure a larger facility. "Currently, our space is about 0.5 of what we actually need for the size of city that we are... We need at least 10,000 square feet," Daisy said.
