Penfield staff close out draft Active Transportation Plan, will finalize and bring resolution to board
After public input and interagency coordination, staff said they will make final typographical edits, finalize planning‑level cost estimates, and present a resolution at an upcoming meeting to accept the Active Transportation Plan and use it as an advocacy tool for county/state projects and federal safety funding.

Mark Valentine told the board that the Active Transportation Plan public hearing is complete, staff has collected feedback and the consultant is finalizing the greenhouse gas inventory and cost figures. He said the document will serve both as a local planning resource and as an advocacy tool when coordinating with the county and state DOTs.
