Fire Warden Travis Hobbs updated the Commission on House Bill 48 implications for high-risk areas in the wildland-urban interface and described ongoing mitigation efforts in Sweetwater. He discussed grant application updates and potential brush truck donations and told Commissioners the State Fire Marshal has not assigned a Fire Department ID (FDID) to Rich County; he requested the Commission sign a letter asking for assignment of an FDID.
