River Ridge CDD adopts FY2024/25 budget, corrects scrivener errors

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted its Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget on Aug. 27, 2024, following a public hearing. Cleo Adams, District Manager, opened the hearing and noted that the budget in the agenda required corrections, including a revision to the “Street sweeping” description; no property owners spoke during the hearing.
Kurt Blumenthal, Assistant Secretary, moved to adopt Resolution 2024-07, "Relating to the Annual Appropriations and Adopting the Budget(s) for the Fiscal Year Beginning October 1, 2024, and Ending September 30, 2025," and Robert Twombly, Assistant Secretary, seconded the motion. The board approved the resolution "as amended" with all in favor. The board record lists the fiscal year period as October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. The Board did not change assessments or line-item amounts during the meeting; corrections were described as scrivener edits to text and line descriptions.
The district will continue standard budget oversight and retains authority to make subsequent budget amendments as allowed by the resolution. The next board meeting is scheduled for Sept. 4, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
