County engineer nominates Wayne Burdette for land development code enforcement post

County engineer Kirsten Robertson nominated Wayne Burdette July 21 to be commissioned as a code enforcement officer in Greenville County's land development division, saying he "has been working with us since November" and praising his performance.
Robertson told the committee Burdette has "done an excellent job" and said he has received certification as a green inspector. A committee member moved to forward the nomination and the committee voted in favor by voice vote; the chair congratulated Burdette on his new role.
The committee's approval forwards the nomination to the full council for formal commissioning; no employment or salary details were discussed at the meeting.
