The town administrator described a plan to post a request for proposals to mark trees eligible for logging in the industrial park in two categories: a corridor for stormwater and road construction and individual lots. Staff said the state is conducting a floodplain restoration project in a neighboring area and may take trees and stumps, providing compensation to the town if the RFP is structured correctly.
