Board splits into subcommittees to refine goals, funding, and code amendments

After presentations, members divided into breakout groups (vouchers/subsidies, revenue/acquisition, communications, code research) and were asked to return with prioritized near-term tasks and a summary for staff.
Chair Jen Lewis and staff directed members into subcommittee breakout groups to refine questions raised during the meeting and to create prioritized near-term tasks. Members signed up for groups focused on revenue/acquisition, vouchers/subsidies, communications/education and code amendments.
Staff asked each subcommittee to prepare a list of near-term priorities, identify meeting frequency and division of tasks, and send a short summary to staff (Joan and Kim) after the breakout session so the full authority can track progress. The board will reconvene at the stated time to report back and align on next steps toward finalizing the strategic plan.
