The Vergennes City Council unanimously approved several appointments and reappointments July 8. The council approved a Second‑Class Liquor License and a Tobacco License for Vermont Wine Shoppe, LLC (doing business as Vergennes Wine). It also appointed Carson Harter‑Hyde as the council's representative to the Parks and Recreation Committee.
