During the highway report Selectboard members discussed a request from Northfield to see materials-testing reports for the pit owned by the Tuckers. The Chair said the town has digital copies of those reports and that the material was made publicly available at prior meetings.
"I do have the digital copies that I can provide to Charlie," the Chair said, adding that the reports had been discussed publicly before and that they’re technically a public record. Other members noted the town paid for the testing and discussed whether reimbursements or partial payment requests were appropriate; no formal reimbursement decision was made during the meeting.
The board agreed staff should provide the requested digital copies to the Northfield contact and confirm what, if any, costs might be recoverable if Northfield wanted more extensive assistance.
