County planners say database tracks development pupil-yield; committee requests BCPS presentation
County planning staff told the committee it maintains a 20-year database linking development projects to projected pupil yield and that BCPS receives county data for population projections; members asked BCPS to present its counting methodology and for maps showing overcrowded schools.

A county staff member told the committee the planning office keeps a development database with pupil-yield estimates dating back more than 20 years because of the APFO. "We do have a database that tracks all of the development in the county as well as, the pupil yield from those developments... that data has been tracked for over 20 years," the staff member said.
