Council authorizes $5,343 contract for sliding gate replacement
The Lowell City Council voted 5-0 to award a fence contract to Oregon Fence Company not to exceed $5,343 to replace a swing gate with a sliding gate for safety reasons and authorized the city administrator to sign the contract.

The council approved replacing a swing gate with a sliding gate after reviewing three quotes. Councilor Tim Stratis moved to select Oregon Fence Company in an amount not to exceed $5,343 and to authorize the City Administrator to sign the contract; Councilor Don Bennett seconded and the motion passed unanimously, 5-0.
