Council approves settlement agreement related to QMC development after executive session

Joanna told council staff and city attorneys had reviewed the terms and that none required monetary payment by the city.
The council recessed to a 10‑minute executive session under RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) to discuss litigation strategy with legal counsel, returned to open session and approved Resolution 1883 authorizing the mayor to execute the settlement agreement. The resolution and discussion referenced QMC/Cortera, Ennequois Holdings LLC and David Grampa as parties to the dispute.
