A letter from the county Sheriff's Office informed the Seneca City Council that the office is not interested in pursuing enforcement under the proposed intergovernmental agreement (IGA). The letter said the city would need to modify ordinances and have an attorney review them for legal sufficiency; it also said the county would not assume enforcement costs and that a dedicated fund would need to be established. The letter included an estimated enforcement cost of $100,000.
